They just don’t write ‘em like that anymore.
For our twelfth regular show, first we look back at the news of the fortnight, including Apples second quarter earnings report, iOS 13 and MacOS 10.15 leaks, a settlement between Apple and Qualcomm, the discontinuation of the LG 4K displays, in-store keyboard replacements, and the Galaxy Flop...er, Fold. In the HomeKit Chronicles, we take a look at 5 of the top requests from forum members and users as WWDC draws near. In our main topic, as the potential breakup of iTunes becomes more and more likely, we look back at the history of iTunes and its predecessors, and discuss what we like and don't like about it and try to answer the question: Is it possible to please the graybeards and power users in any foreseeable iTunes breakup?
