Episode 30: An Eye for Design with special guest Andrew "cateye" Welyczko
A Memorial service for quickdraw GX
For our thirtieth regular show, we are joined by very special guest and Mac Ach forum mod Andrew Welyczko, who you may know as Cateye on the forums. Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with using the Mac in desktop publishing and related creative endeavors, from his 13 years as a designer (among many other roles) at the Onion, to his work as a self-employed designer. We talk a bit about the rack mounted Mac Pro, discuss potential new power management on the Mac, and Dan and Andrew reminisce and commiserate about desktop publishing on the Mac, then and now! We are also excited to announce a special upcoming HomeKit roundtable, now that CES has wrapped, with anticipated guests Zac Hall from 9to5mac, Adam Justice, the CEO of device maker ConnectSense, and Adam's co-host on the Smart Home Show, Richard Gunther!
